A memória oral no mundo contemporâneo

TEMOS assistido a uma valorização da memória oral nas ciências humanas. Este artigo discute as condições psicossociais que levam ao decaimento da memória e as circuntâncias que promovem sua revalorização. Explora a dimensão psicológica e política da memória oral, sugerindo que o passado narrado assume um caráter de resistência frente à ameaça de desenraizamento.<br>WE HAVE been experiencing an increasing importance of the oral memory on the human sciences. This article deals with the psycho-social conditions that led to the desuse of the narration and the circumstances that promote its revitalization. It also explores the psychological and political dimensions of oral memory, suggesting that the narrative past assumes a resistance feature toward the unrooting threat.
