ESTUDIO ETNOBOTÁNICO DE ESPECIES VEGETALES CON PROPIEDADES MEDICINALES EN SEIS MUNICIPIOS DE BOYACÁ, COLOMBIA ETHNOBOTANY STUDY OF PLANT SPECIES WITH MEDICINAL PROPERTIES IN SIX MUNICIPALITIES DE BOYACÁ, COLOMBIA

Se investigó el uso de plantas medicinales entre los habitantes de Tunja, Chíquiza, Cómbita, Oicata, Sora, Soracá en el departamento de Boyacá (Colombia), mediante encuestas a 600 personas que expresaron tener conocimiento de la utilización de estas plantas. A cada persona se le realizó una encuesta de tipo específica o botánica, en donde se muestra el uso de 45 especies vegetales con propiedades medicinales. Así mismo en el desarrollo de una investigación de acción participativa se buscó la recopilación del saber popular y el rescate del uso tradicional de plantas medicinales que poseen los abuelos y que es transmitida de generación en generación.<br>Here we report the use of medicinal plants among the inhabitants of Tunja, Chíquiza, Cómbita, Oicata, Sora, Soracá in the department of Boyacá (Colombia) by a survey of 600 people that expressed to have knowledge of the use of these plants. Forty five species of medical importance were recognized in the region derived from different questions asked on the use of plant species known to be of medical importance in the area. Likewise we performed an investigation by participative action within the communities looking for a summary of popular knowledge and the rescue of the traditional use of medicinal plants that the grandparents possess and that is transmitted from generation to generation.
