K 80. výročí konfiskací proběhlých v Československu po 2. světové válce

The paper is dedicated to the issue of confiscations that took place in Czechoslovakia after the end of World War II. It focuses on the ideological sources of the confiscations in both domestic and foreign resistance movements, which found expression in the Košice Government Program of April 1945. Attention is paid to the legislative implementation of the confiscations and the government discussions on the wording of individual presidential decrees through which the confiscations was carried out. The article also briefly discusses the differences in Slovak legislation regarding the confiscations of agricultural property.
