Cuando las cosas no son signos: la urbe de fin de siglo en la poesía argentina reciente

El trabajo consiste en un análisis de la relación de algunos poetas argentinos que han publicado sus libros en los últimos quince años (Fabián Casas, Alejandro Rubio, Martín Gambarotta, Laura Wittner) con la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Enmarcado por los estudios teóricos y sociológicos que se han hecho recientemente sobre ella (Sarlo, Gorelik), pero poniendo el acento en los trabajos de teoría del arte y la cultura que han abordado esta cuestión, especialmente por lo que atañe a la relación de la representación con el anudamiento de lo Imaginario, lo Simbólico y lo Real lacanianos, se da cuenta de la medida en que, de manera general, aunque con matices, los textos manifiestan la falta de relación vital del poeta con su entorno. En este contexto social la figura del poeta se vuelve la de un dios destituido. This paper aims at analysing the relationship between some Argentine poets who have published their books in the last fifteen years and the city of Buenos Aires (Fabián Casas, Alejandro Rubio, Martín Gambarotta, Laura Wittner), and is developed within the recent theoretical and sociological research on that city (Sarlo, Gorelik). Focused on studies upon art history and culture dealing with the post-avant-garde production, this article argues for the texts as manifesting, in general terms albeit with certain overtones, a crisis of the traditional concept of representation and the lack of a vital relationship between the poets and their surroundings.
