Tyché, métis y kairós: las prácticas subjetivantes de la Fortuna

Este artículo propone un recorrido genealógico de la idea greco-romana de Fortuna, reconociendo como punto de partida su vínculo etimológico con Tyché, la noción griega portadora de la suerte y el azar. Mediante un anacronismo temporal que se adentrará en el mundo arcaico y clásico griego, este estudio intentará echar luz sobre el arco semántico de esta noción, abrevando en distintas discursividades –filológicas, históricas, literarias, filosóficas-, a fin de dar cuenta de la diversidad del campo de usos de tyché. Habría, en este sentido, dos recorridos problemáticos: uno, providencial, que uniría esta noción al complejo Agathon Tyché donde Fortuna se hallaría divinizada, y otro, que ocupará nuestro análisis, ligado al problema de cómo producir un trabajo de preparación de la suerte en la praxis de la vida cotidiana. Para esta tarea, tyché se unirá a la inteligencia práctica de métis y al saber crítico de kairós, configurando una práctica subjetivante en el mundo clásico, que será recogida tanto por un arte médico atento a atenuar el azar, como por un arte político preocupado en regular la multiplicidad del accionar de la pólis a través de una ética atenuadora del azar. This article proposes a genealogical study of the Greek-Roman idea of Fortune, recognizing as a starting point its etymological link with Týche, the Greek notion for luck and chance. Through a temporary anachronism that will enter the archaic and classical Greek world, this study tries to cast light on the semantic arc of this notion, which is entrusted by different discourse -historical, literary, philosophical- in order to give an account of the diverse field of uses of Týche. There would be, in this sense, two problematic percourses: one, providential, that would bound this notion to the legacy of the complex Agathon Týche in the process of divinization of Fortuna, and another, that will occupy our analysis, linked to the praxis and the work of ‘preparing luck’ as key of everyday life. For this task, Týche will join the practical intelligence of mêtis and the critical knowledge of kairós, building a subjective practice that, in the classical world, will be profited both, by a medical art worried to attenuate hazard, and by political art concerned to regulate the multiplicity of actions of the pólis through an ethic of a minimal amount of chance.
