Resumen

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

This study explored the relationship between social media and Generation Alpha, focusing on creativity, learning, and assessment. It also investigated students’ internalizing behaviors and parental interventions. This study aims to provide insights into the role of Artificial intelligence (AI) tools in enhancing educational development and academic performance. This study employed a quantitative approach to examine the patterns and perspectives of Generation Alpha regarding AI and social media usage through the lens of Indian parents. A self-constructed questionnaire was utilized for this study and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used for evaluation. The use of technology had a beneficial effect on the creativity of Generation Alpha students. However, increased engagement with social media can foster the development of internalizing behaviors in students, necessitating controlled usage under parental supervision. Furthermore, the application of AI promotes creativity and enhances academic performance. This study represents an innovative exploration within the context of Generation Alpha, also known as iGeneration. Through this research, the authors elucidated the impact of AI on academic performance, highlighting its utility as a tool for fostering creativity, skill development, and facilitating learning for this generation. The findings of this study offer significant implications for the development of effective digital education strategies that can be useful to generations.
