First record of Indian Fox in Dang, Gujarat, India

This study documents the presence of the Indian Fox Vulpes bengalensis in the Dang District of Gujarat, an area where its occurrence had not been previously reported. Using camera-trapping techniques, we provide new insights into the species’ distribution, contributing to the existing knowledge of its range. These findings highlight the need for further research and conservation efforts to better understand the habitat preferences and ecological significance of the Indian Fox in this region.
