Gender theories and Christian humanistic education

Gender theories and humanistic education in universities with a Christian identity are often regarded as irreconcilable. It is nevertheless possible to establish a dialogue grounded in a clear understanding of both Christian anthropology and the premises of gender theory. Such an approach makes it possible to discern areas of convergence while also acknowledging the profound divergences that distinguish them. Thus, dialogue may unfold with relative ease in domains of shared concern, yet it inevitably encounters greater challenges where the respective positions diverge most sharply. Embracing these challenges will strengthen the fundamental principles of humanistic education within the university community, such as the development of a sapiential perspective, the capacity for judgment, the affirmation of comprehensive knowledge, and the awakening of an interest in the pursuit of truth.
