The sense of human security in the light of selected phenomena of sexual psychopathology

The article addresses the issue of human security in the context of selected phenomena of sexual psychopathology – rape, paedophilia and sex tourism. The research aim was to show how these phenomena affect the subjective sense of security of individuals and communities, as well as to indicate effective prevention and intervention strategies. The analysis draws on a review of the scholarly literature as well as legal acts relevant to the topic. The conclusion highlights the need for comprehensive solutions combining education, prevention, victim support and offender rehabilitation, as well as for international cooperation – especially with regard to transnational phenomena such as sex tourism and human trafficking.
