Models like DeepSeek have demonstrated that high-performance AI can be developed at a fraction of the cost incurred by major Western tech companies. This efficiency, coupled with the open-source nature of some models, could democratize AI access, enabling its integration into sectors such as micro-retail and microenterprise ecosystems.This paper analyzes how China has optimized AI development with lower investment in hardware and training, making adoption feasible in traditionally excluded sectors.
