The advance of technology, environmental awareness, the propensity to form strategic alliances and new ways of resignifying the world of work, among others, are trends that generate changes at a political, economic and social level, while impacting on the modes to behave and act in the organizations of the 21st century. Some organizations have the capacity to adapt quickly to changes, while others require the presence of a leader or change manager to guide the way. Creating that environment can be a great opportunity for those who take on that challenge. This work is aimed at diagnosing and describing the relevant factors of organizational culture and management styles; narrate the main facilitators and hinder the process of change and reflect on it. The research with qualitative guidance was carried out in the Development Organization area of the central house of an Insurance Cooperative in the city of Rosario. As preliminary reflections, it can be identified that: the cooperative has had an intense and dynamic growth in which the change was seen as necessary being driven from within the organization. From the political level the process was accompanied by coexisting its strategy as a facilitator of the process and the organizational culture did not establish resistances, although it is going through a period of adaptation that is efficiently guided by the person in charge of such reengineering, appreciated as a transformational leader. The ongoing process is seen as a competitive advantage that augurs the survival and growth of the cooperative.
