La Academia nacional de la Historia y sus redes intelectuales: Jujuy y “su lugar” en el relato nacional bajo la pluma de Teófilo Sánchez de Bustamante

Este artículo tiene por objeto reconstruir la biografía intelectual de Teófilo Sánchez de Bustamante, centrados en sus redes intelectuales y su desempeño como académico de la llamada Nueva Escuela Histórica argentina. La primera mitad del siglo XX estuvo atravesada por un proceso de institucionalización de la disciplina, en donde se conjugó la aparición de obras que buscaron reforzar una identidad nacional de la provincia de Jujuy, junto a la adquisición de prácticas heurísticas y redes intelectuales que nucleaban a diversos historiadores del llamado “interior”. Por otro lado, nos interesa centrarnos en las concepciones históricas que desarrolló este intelectual, buscando resaltar la “contribución” jujeña a la causa nacional, enmarcándose así en una tradición historiográfica que tenía antecedentes en otras figuras destacadas de la historiografía local. Para ello se indagará sobre sus principales obras y documentación oficial que nos permita situar sus redes relacionales y vínculos con el Estado provincial. This article aims to reconstruct the intelectual biography of Teófilo Sánchez de Bustamante, focusing on his intelectual networks and his performance as an academic of the so called New Argentine Historical School. The first half of the 20th century was crossed y a process of institutionalization of the discipline, which combined the appearance of works that sought to reinforce a national identity of the province of Jujuy, along with the acquisition of heuristic practices and intellectual networks that brought together various historians of the so-called “interior”. On the other hand, we are interested in focusing on the historical conceptions that this intellectual developed, seeking to highlight the Jujean "contribution" to the national cause, thus framing itself in a historiographic tradition that had antecedents in other prominent figures of local historiography.
