Green creative networks, green dynamic capability, and green entrepreneurship behaviors: Evidence from 438 Chinese family farms

As the core entities of China's modern agricultural operation system, green entrepreneurial behaviors of family farms are directly related to the implementation of ecological sustainability. Based on empirical data from 438 Chinese family farms, the present study proposes the concept and classification of green creative networks (GCNs) in the context of family farms and analyzes the relationships among GCNs, green dynamic capability, and green entrepreneurial behaviors. The current research finds that: (a) GCNs are categorized into social- and market-oriented GCNs. (b) Green dynamic capability mediates the relationship between both social- and market-oriented GCNs and green entrepreneurial behaviors. (c) Significant heterogeneity exists in GCNs and green entrepreneurial behaviors based on the farm owner's gender, age, education level, and the family farm's revenue and region. The conclusions provide theoretical and practical insights for the green entrepreneurial behaviors of family farms under resource constraints.
