La filosofía de Aristóteles en la dimensión regresiva-analítica del método progresivo-regresivo de El segundo sexo

El presente trabajo sitúa las tesis aristotélicas sobre la diferencia sexual y las relaciones entre varones y mujeres en la fase regresiva-analítica del método progresivo-regresivo de El segundo sexo de Simone de Beauvoir. Centrándonos especialmente, aunque no exclusivamente, en Generación de los animales y Política, nos proponemos mostrar que la filosofía del estagirita constituye una de las condiciones de existencia del estatus de Otra de la mujer y, por lo tanto, de su situación de subordinación respecto del varón. Para ello, en primer lugar, explicamos el método progresivo-regresivo y delimitamos su aplicación en la obra beauvoireana. En segundo lugar, analizamos las contribuciones de Aristóteles al estatus femenino mencionado, poniendo de relieve las continuidades entre la biología, la psicología, la moral y la esfera políticosocial, así como sus consecuencias éticas. Por último, abordamos brevemente el problema de las dimensiones valorativa, normativa y prescriptiva del pensamiento aristotélico y beauvoireano.
This papper places the aristotelian thesis about sexual difference and relationships between men and women on the regressive-analytical dimension of The Second Sex´ progressive-regressive method. Focusing primarily, but not exclusively, in On the Generation of Animals and Politics, we propose to show that the philosophy of Aristotle is one of the conditions of existence of the woman´s status as Other of the masculine subject and, therefore, her subordinate situation in relation to men. To do this, first, we explain the progressive-regressive method and delimit its application in Beauvoir´s work. Second, we analyze the contributions of Aristotle to mentioned female status, highlighting the continuities between biology, psychology, moral and sociopolitical sphere, and their ethical implications. Finally, we briefly deal with the problem of the value, normative and prescriptive dimensions in the Beauvoir and Aristotle´ works.
