This thesis project and the problem we will study have their origin in the assumption that society teaches to break the rules. An issue of my interest since the beginning was how to link transgression to education; this means to approach transgression as a systematic learning process that would imply the failure of learning the norms. We state that prescriptive knowledge is a field composed by different kind of rules and so it becomes evident that the conceptions and beliefs transmitted in primary socialization will influence its comprehension. We start with the following questions: what knowledge (ideas) are transmitted in primary socializations related to prescriptive knowledge? Does some transmission model exist? Does this process foment transgressive behaviors towards normative systems? The results were arranged in the following way: Description of the group?s daily life with the intention of identifying factors affecting the situation of transmission of norms. Analysis of the different typologies? behavior in relation to the matrix for analysis proposed. Analysis of the inhibiting procedures used by the subjects researched, paying attention to the exercise of authority, the type of inhibiting procedures and the extenuating arguments deployed A comparison between the mothers? justifications for penalizing their children and legal sciences? theories of justification of penalties. Conclusions: The model assumed by PM depends on the personal assignation of value to the rule transmitted, with independence of its intrinsic value. This position is determined by the own experience, by children?s social insertion expectations and by every day dynamics. We analyzed differences in each model and we compared the use of authority exercise and deontic modalizators in relation with juridical rules. We observed difficulties to keep the sanction owing to the inhibitory procedure employed. PMs use ?rational? argument in order to justify in front of their children the non compliance to the sanction they themselves had imposed. This promotes transgression as it strengthens the belief that it is always possible to justify that by means of argument, a deviant action will not be imputed. PMs conceive a sanction from a retributive perspective except for complex situations. In order to respond to our research questions results were analyzed considering the different actions of the different types regarding the favor to the compliance of norms or the justification of transgression.
