Los desafíos de la ciencia política

This article presents the challenges that political science, and in particular, the political analyst, assumes. Political science cannot ignore its relationship with the rest of the Social Sciences and its interdisciplinary character. However, every day modern political science is assuming a more scientific rigor, and criticism, for its specificity. This is not only reflected in the autonomy that our schools and investigation centers assume, but even in the daily responsibilities assumed by the political analyst. Supported by well founded knowledge and tools (authors, grand projects, diverse areas of interests and theoretical perspectives), the political analyst assumes the challenges that currently face them, to ease political transformation of the players and agencies (conceptions and practical) which have added to the challenges imposed by the globalization process. Which include new relationships and inequalities, orders and actors that have arisen on a world, national and local scale.
