Abstract Amid rising employment challenges, entrepreneurship has emerged as a salient pathway for graduates, and higher education institutions increasingly seek to foster entrepreneurial capabilities that support economic and societal development. Entrepreneurship education, has evolved into a multidisciplinary domain drawing on diverse theories, practices, and cases. This study systematically examines research trends in entrepreneurship education from 2014–2024, leveraging a dataset of 2399 papers from Scopus and 3103 papers from the Web of Science. Following PRISMA principles, the data collection ensured transparent identification, screening, and inclusion of relevant literature. Using CiteSpace for bibliometric analysis and knowledge mapping, we identify key thematic trends, appraise their scholarly salience, and trace the chronological and regional evolution of the field. The findings indicate growth in areas such as the integration of innovation and technology, the expanding role of experiential learning, and an increased emphasis on entrepreneurial ecosystems. Emerging topics: including artificial intelligence, design thinking, and arts entrepreneurship, suggest promising avenues for further inquiry. These contributions provide practical reference points for curriculum development and for cumulative, comparable research in entrepreneurship education.
