Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

The article offers a broad discussion of co-payments for medical advice of primary care and specialist physicians in the Polish healthcare system. Availability and usage of medical advice are presented. Also discussed are the (conceptual) proposals to make the benefits of this kind subject to co-payments, and the solutions that are now used in the EU member states. The purpose of this work was to present the level of, and the conditions for, the public support for the co-payments for medical advice from primary care and specialist physicians. The work is based on public opinion surveys and my own research.
