Designing a technical project of common telecommunications infrastructure

The increase in new services based on information and communications technologies (ICT) represents a panoply of opportunities in every single area of our lives. Aspects such as health, security, training, comfort, sustainability and leisure, are continuously being improved because of ICT. In this sense, Common Telecommunication Infrastructures (CTI) play a fundamental role as they structure and guarantee access to these services from the homes. Bearing in mind the Spanish regulations, this book aims to deepen the design of this kind of infrastructure by carrying out a technical project of a CTI in a building. Thus, the authors intend to complement the previous work entitled "Common Telecommunication Infrastructures", which focused on such regulation. Like the previous one, this book is mainly aimed at students of the compulsory course "Telecommunication Infrastructures" included in the Master in Telecommunication Engineering that is taught at the Linares School of Engineering, at the Universidad de Jaén. El aumento de los nuevos servicios basados en tecnologías de información y comunicaciones (TIC) representa una amplia gama de oportunidades en cada área de nuestras vidas. Aspectos como la salud, la seguridad, la formación, la comodidad, la sostenibilidad y el ocio están mejorando continuamente gracias a las TIC. En este sentido, las Infraestructuras Comunes de Telecomunicación (ICT) desempeñan un papel fundamental ya que estructuran y garantizan el acceso a estos servicios desde los hogares. Teniendo en cuenta la regulación española, este libro tiene como objetivo profundizar en el diseño de este tipo de infraestructuras mediante la realización de un proyecto técnico de una ICT en un edificio. Por lo tanto, los autores pretenden complementar el trabajo anterior titulado "Infraestructuras comunes de telecomunicaciones", que se centró en dicha regulación. Al igual que el anterior, este libro está dirigido principalmente a estudiantes de la asignatura obligatoria "Infraestructuras de Telecomunicaciones" incluida en el Máster en Ingeniería de Telecomunicación que se imparte en la Escuela Politécnica Superior de Linares, en la Universidad de Jaén.
