Paralenguaje de los ojos en Esquilo

La mirada -acto de ver- tiene, de acuerdo con investigaciones contemporáneas, tres diferentes funciones: informa, toca y habla. Este estudio analiza la función lingüística de la mirada -cómo los ojos hablan- en la obra de Esquilo, siguiendo recientes estudios sobre el lenguaje corporal y la gestualidad -Mc Neill, Davis, Pease, Fast- en los cuales los ojos tienen un papel central. Este estudio demuestra que los ojos hablan, adulan y delatan en Esquilo. El trabajo presenta y analiza en su obra literaria diferentes tipos de expresión visual: emblemas, ilustradores, reguladores, adaptadores. Finalmente se detiene en los mensajes de cejas, párpados y lágrimas. La lengua griega y el genio de Esquilo ofrecen numerosos ejemplos ricos y valiosos del paralenguaje de los ojos. The look -act of seeing, regard- has, according to contemporary research, three different functions: it informs, it touches and it speaks. This study analyses the linguistic function of the look -how the eyes "speak"-, in the Aeschylus´s creation, following recent studies about body language and gestures -Mc Neill, Davis, Pease, Fast-, in which the eyes have a central role. These study shows that the eyes speak, flatter und denounce in Aeschylus. The work presents and analyses in his literary work different types of visual expression: emblems, illustrators, regulators and adapters. Finally the study analyses the messages from eyebrows, eyelids and tears.
