Discursive strategies in parliamentary debate. "Verbal terrorism" populism, disinterest and political deadlock

The present research has as a goal the valuation of oral and non-oral aggressiveness in the discursive strategies used by the Members of the Romanian Parliament in the context of an acute political crisis. The analytical corpus is made up of the records of the parliamentarian debates in connection with the vote of non-confidence, known as ”After 22 years, the democracy is endangered”, in the 22 of December 2011. It will be estimated the extent to which the polemical discursive method does respect the principle of co-operation and politeness, or slips to diverse forms of ”oral terrorism”, it will be identified a dialogical, relational pattern of the respective debate. In the section of conclusions it will be emphasized the real stake of the analyzed parliamentarian confrontations, the ideological, legitimate problems of the chief parties in Romania, but also the chances of surpassing a political crisis of this kind.
