Protesty a požadavky vojáků základní služby během sametové revoluce: historicko-sociologická analýza institucionální dynamiky a kolektivního jednání v dokumentech Koordinačního centra Občanského fóra

The study deals with the phenomenon of protests and demands of conscript soldiers during the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia. Based on the analysis of digitized sources of the Coordination Center of the Civic Forum, the author offers a view of the institutional dynamics of the Czechoslovak Armed Forces and the forms of collective action that soldiers used in response to the rapidly changing political environment. The methodological framework combines digital history approaches – in particular, text lemmatization and topic modeling – with classical heuristics and qualitative content analysis. The text uses theoretical concepts of liminality, symbolic action, and political mobilization, which reveal how new ideas and forms of protest were promoted even in a rigid institution such as the army.
