Dafnis en la <i>Bucólica</i> V de Virgilio: la alusión compleja y los límites de la identidad

La mayor parte de la crítica sobre la bucólica V ha partido de la idea de que Dafnis es una alegoría de otro personaje o de otra realidad. Sin embargo, nada hay en él que haga posible sostener una interpretación alegórica en ningún sentido porque, a diferencia del <i>puer</i> de la bucólica IV o del <i>iuvenis</i> de la I, Dafnis tiene un nombre preciso. Partiendo de otros postulados críticos, la idea de este artículo es que el Dafnis de la bucólica V sugiere distintos planos de alusiones (alusión compleja), uno de los cuales es el contemporáneo, que remite a César, pero que el carácter literario del texto nos impide admitir la alegorización, basada en posiciones ajenas a la índole de los textos literarios. La reseña de distintas consideraciones críticas hace pensar que, en cierta manera, esos sentidos están presentes en el poema de Virgilio y no son necesariamente el resultado de especulaciones posteriores. Por último, puede verse que es la poesía, en tanto sostén de la historia (y con la materias de la imagen y la alusión), el ente capaz de celebrar algún aspecto del ámbito histórico. Esta idea puede extenderse a otros sectores de la obra virgiliana.
Most of Bucolic's criticism has started from the idea that Daphnis is an allegory of another character or of another reality. However, there is nothing in him that makes it possible to support an allegorical interpretation in any sense because, unlike the <i>puer</i> of the 4th Bucolic or the <i>iuvenis</i> of the 1st, Daphnis has a precise name. Taking into account other views, the idea of this article is that the 5th Bucolic's Daphnis suggests different planes of allusions (complex allusion); one of those is the contemporary plane, that refers to Caesar. Nevertheless, the literary nature of the text prevents us to admit allegorization, based on points of view unaware of the literary nature of texts. The review of different critical perspectives moves to think that, in a way, those meanings are present in Virgil poem and are not necessarily the result of later speculations. Eventually, we can see that it is poetry, as a support of history (and throughout images and allusions), the entity capable of celebrating some aspect of the historical sphere. We can extend this idea to other parts of Virgilian work.
