Obraz české transformace v zrcadle sociologického výzkumu

This study confronts the conceptualization and development of the economic transformation of the 1990s, with long-term targeted sociological research mapping the mental state of Czech society and the views on this issue. Perfectly projected series of investigations was conducted by the Institute for Public Opinion Research in Prague, whose legal successor is the Center for Public Opinion Research as a department of the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences in Prague, in whose archives the applied researches are stored. The high predictive value of the outputs processed within the international System Change and Modernization Project attended by France, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, and of the researches designed by professionals of the Institute of Sociology is based on representative population samples of more than thousand respondents, and especially on the long-term nature of the project, which thus gives insight into the development of views, ideas.
