El desarrollo profesional del psicológo en el campo educativo: formación, contextos y práctica profesional

El Proyecto de Investigación "El desarrollo del conocimiento profesional del psicólogo: estudio de graduados de la UNLP; su inserción en el campo educativo" se configura a partir de los estudios sobre la formación de los profesores en psicología que realizamos previamente. Ellos nos fueron situando en el proceso de construcción del conocimiento profesional tanto en profesores como en psicólogos que ejercen la docencia, visualizando el papel que en dicho proceso asumen los conocimientos construidos en los ámbitos académico y profesional y la relación entre ambos. Desde esta perspectiva, consideramos relevante centrar la investigación en la construcción del conocimiento profesional del psicólogo graduado en la UNLP. Delimitamos el campo educativo como el contexto para estudiar dicho proceso, pues observamos que, en forma creciente, los licenciados en Psicología y los estudiantes próximos a graduarse optan por culminar el profesorado con el propósito de insertarse laboralmente en dicho campo. El objetivo central de la investigación es estudiar el desarrollo del conocimiento profesional del psicólogo que se desempeña en el campo educativo. Focalizamos en el proceso de profesionalización como proceso de formación y cambio en las maneras de ser y estar en la profesión. Entendemos que el mismo se estructura a partir del conocimiento práctico, se basa en el sentido-significado que se le da al trabajo y supone los conocimientos que guían las acciones-intervenciones, la interacción con el contexto en el que se interviene y las formas que asume el ser y estar en la profesión que lo convierten o no en un profesional competente. Para ello consideramos relevante tanto problematizar el campo de la Psicología Educacional como disciplina y profesión, como reconstruir la historia en torno a la formación de los psicólogos en la UNLP con especificidad en el área educacional, teniendo en cuenta las representaciones/valoraciones que el propio psicólogo y otros agentes construyen sobre el ejercicio profesional en el campo educativo. El proyecto se inscribe en un enfoque de investigación cualitativo. La lógica que se intenta seguir es de comprensión e interpretación a partir de situar un objeto, el desarrollo del conocimiento profesional del psicólogo. The Investigation Project called: "The development of the psychologist's professional knowledge: A study of graduated of the UNLP; their insert in the educational field" is elaborated from the studies on the formation of the psychology professors that we have been carrying out previously and which located us in the construction process of the professional knowledge in professors and psychologists that are exercising teaching, visualizing the paper that built knowledge assume in the academic and professional environments and the relationship between them in this process. From this perspective we consider the construction of the psychologist's professional knowledge graduated in the UNLP the focus of our investigation. The educational field is defined as the context to study this process because we observe that an increasing number of the Psychology graduated and the students next to graduate opt to finish the University with the intention of having a labor insertion in this field. The central objective of the investigation is to study the professional knowledge development of the psychologists who work in the educational field. Our focus is in the professional process as a formation and transformation process in the way of being and staying in the profession. We understand that the mentioned process is structured from the practical knowledge, it is based on the sensemeaning that is given to the work and it supposes the knowledge that guide the action-interventions, the interaction with the context in which a professional intervenes and the ways that being and staying in the profession assume in order to convert him/her or not in a competent professional. It is important for us to consider the Educational Psychology field as a discipline and a profession such as reconstructing the history around the UNLP psychologists formation with their specificity in the educational area, keeping in mind the representations / valuations that the own psychologists and other agents build on the psychologist's professional exercise in the educational field. The project registers in a qualitative investigation approach.
