Analysis of student perceptions on virtual learning environment experiences at a private university in Latin America [Análisis de las percepciones estudiantiles sobre experiencias con entornos virtuales de aprendizaje en una universidad privada de América Latina]

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the development of students' interactions with the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), based on perceptions and narratives expressed by a private university in Latam. Using a mixed-method approach that combines surveys and semi-structured interviews, the findings highlight key aspects of the student experience. Overall, students report high satisfaction with the dynamics and frequency of VLE use. However, the data also reveal specific challenges: technical failures in the digital infrastructure, the need for teacher training to foster collaboration, the lack of regulation in digital social interactions, and the importance of preserving human contact in virtual education.
