Globalização e direito internacional: da boa vizinhança ao patrimônio comum da humanidade Globalization and international law: from good neighbourhood to the common heritage of humanity

Perante os desafios globais com que se defronta a Humanidade no seu conjunto, o Direito Internacional é atravessado por um processo de transfiguração de alguns de seus postulados clássicos. Depois de sintetizar as grandes linhas dessa mudança, cujo símbolo maior é o regime internacional de patrimônio comum da humanidade, este artigo põe em questão a adequação de acentuações correntes da dimensão institucional daquele processo à estrutura da sociedade internacional contemporânea.<br>In the presence of the global challenges confronting humanity, International Law is traversed by a process of transformation of some of its classic postulates. After summing up the main lines of this change, the greatest symbol of which is the international regime of the common heritage of humanity, this article questions the adequacy of current accentuations of the institutional dimension in this process to the structure of contemporary international society.
