Metodika zpracování digitální edice ve formátu TEI 5 a její propojení se specializovanou databází na příkladu digitální edice jezuitských Literae annuae

The paper attempts to present the methodology of processing of digital edition in the internationally recognized XML TEI 5 standard and to present the benefits that this way of making sources available to researchers in comparison with the classical edition. Using the example of the web presentation of the annual reports of the Jesuit college in Telč, it shows the preparation of the XML document using the Word e-Edition template from the Czech Language Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and its connection with the specialized BBDR database (Biobibliographical Database of Religious in the Czech Lands in the Early Modern Period). The possibilities of online publication of the digital edition and the potential of using visualization tools in the Edition Vizualization Techonology environment are also mentioned.
