El riesgo y el turismo: herramientas para transformar la crisis en oportunidades

El riesgo tiene un origen social y es una herramienta analítica muy importante para abordar la sociedad en el siglo XXI. La coyuntura que se abre con la pandemia del COVID-19,otorga un lugar de gran importancia a este concepto dentro de las herramientas que ponen a disposición las Ciencias Sociales para analizar una situación inédita en la Modernidad. A diferencia de las catástrofes, en el riesgo hay una apropiación social del tiempo y el espacio,porque es posible el cálculo que permite la prevención, la atenuación y la modificación de las acciones que incrementan los resultados peligrosos. En la presente reflexión,se abordará la relación del riesgo y el turismo,y su incidencia para transformar la crisis en una oportunidad. Risk has a social origin and is a very important analytical tool to tackle society in the 21st century. The conjuncture that begins with the COVID-19pandemic gives a very important place to this concept within the tools that the Social Sciences make available to analyze an unprecedented situation in Modernity. Unlike catastrophes, at risk,there is a social appropriation of time and space because the calculation is possible that allows prevention, mitigation,and modification of actions that increase dangerous results. In this reflection, the relationship between risk and tourism and its incidence will be addressed to transform the crisis into an opportunity. Le risque a une origine sociale et est un outil analytique très important pour aborder la société au 21e siècle. La conjoncture qui s'ouvre avec la pandémie de COVID-19donne une place très importante à ce concept dans les outilsque les Sciences Sociales mettent à disposition pour analyser une situation sans précédent dans la Modernité. Contrairement aux catastrophes, à risque il y a une appropriation sociale du temps et de l'espace car le calcul est possible qui permet la prévention, l'atténuation et la modification des actions qui augmentent les résultats dangereux. Cette réflexion portera sur la relation entre le risque et le tourisme et son incidence pour transformer la crise enopportunité.
