Os resultados das eleições mexicanas de 6 de julho deste ano devem ser compreendidos à luz das políticas de ajuste e de reforma do Estado implementadas por De La Madrid e Salinas de Gortari. A reforma do Estado minou o partido de Estado: a perestroika mexicana acabou por produzir sua glasnost<br>The outcome of this year's Mexican elections must be understood from the perspective of the structural reform policies put into practice by presidents De La Madri and Salinas de Gortari. The reform of the State undermined the state party: the Mexican perestroika produced its own glasnost.
