América del Sur, la crisis internacional y los cambios en el sistema internacional

El autor aborda el análisis del ambiente regional en el cual la primera gran crisis de este siglo tuvo lugar, es decir, cuáles son las condiciones político-económicas de la región, considerando que de ese modo será posible entender cómo afectó la crisis a los distintos países y por qué las respuestas fueron las que se desarrollan. Luego propone algunas consideraciones sobre algunas de las características generales de la crisis para luego volver al ámbito regional estudiando las respuestas concretas que países como Brasil y Argentina han dado a la misma. Finalmente, trata los procesos de integración regional y cómo impactó también la crisis en ellos. The author offers an analysis of the regional environment in which the first great crisis of this century took place. Reviewing the polítical and economic conditions of the region enabies us to understand how the crisis affected the different countries and why they have responded as they have. The author then reffects on so me of the general characteristics of the crisis before focusing back on the regional sphere ro study the particular crisis responses of countries such as Brazil and Argentina.
