En este ensayo se ofrece un breve análisis de la historia del movimiento de la Reforma Universitaria, iniciado en la Universidad de Córdoba, Argentina, en 1918. Se intenta estudiar las raíces académicas de este movimiento y las causas de su proyección en América Latina. También se incluye una breve reflexión sobre la actualidad y vigencia de los ideales reformistas. Neste ensaio se oferece uma breve análise da história do movimento da Reforma Universitária, iniciado na Universidade de Córdoba, Argentina, em 1918. Se busca estudar as raízes acadêmicas deste movimento e as causas de sua projeção na América Latina. Se inclui também uma breve reflexão sobre a atualidade e vigência dos ideais reformistas. This essay offers a brief analysis of the history of the University Reform movement, initiated at the University of Córdoba, Argentina, in 1918. It aims to study the academic roots of this movement and the causes of its projection in Latin America. It also includes a brief reflection on the current relevance of the reformist ideals.
