The use of rosemary aqueous extracts (ARE) as biostimulants depends heavily on the chemical plasticity of the source material. This study explores the metabolic diversity of several Salvia rosmarinus varieties and clones developed by the INTA breeding program, originating from different Argentine provinces and cultivated in Merlo and Concarán (San Luis). Given our previous characterization of these varieties, which identified a clear gradient in their ability to induce plant protection, we employed UHPLC-based metabolomics to investigate the underlying chemical basis of these differences. The primary objective of this dataset is to distinguish the metabolic fingerprints of protective versus non-protective varieties. Fil: García, Lucila.
