Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara konsep diri akademik dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMP N 24 Purworejo. Populasi penelitian adalah 173 siswa dan sampel penelitian didapatkan melalui cluster random sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala konsep diri akademik (26 aitem, α = 0,853) dan skala motivasi berprestasi (5 aitem, α = 0,718). Analisis Kendall’s Tau menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri akademik dengan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMP N 24 Purworejo (r = 0,283; p<0,001), yang berarti bahwa semakin positif konsep diri akademik maka semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi. Untuk meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi, siswa perlu mengembangkan konsep diri akademik yang dimilikinya secara lebih positif.
