Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

The author of the essay reflects two possible approaches towards epistemology. First approach, according to him, originates in the Antiquity and Middle Ages; its systematic form can be also encountered in the contemporary analytical philosophy. The other approach was developed within the modern philosophy. The key difference is, in author’s view, the different approach towards the human subjectivity: Whereas the analytical philosophers and their predecessors prefer the object of knowledge to the epistemic subject, the modern philosophers revers this epistemological order.
