Este grupo de datos contiene información sobre perímetro y superficie de plataformas hidrocarburíferas localizadas en la costa este del río Grande. Además de su georreferenciación. Para ello se utilizó Argenmap (IGN). Estos datos complementan diversos trabajos de campo realizados en la zona. El uso de la herramienta satelital permite observar la distribución de la infraestructura petrolera, especialmente las plataformas, y su distancia al curso de agua como a viviendas de puesteros.
