Durante la dittatura di Ion Antonescu, in Romania anche perreati minori i sospetti sono stati condannati a morte. Uno di quest è stato, Ferenc Léstyán, un prete romano cattolico nato a Csikszentkiraly, segretario personale del arcivescovo Áron Márton. Prima che la sentenza fosse emessanel luglio 1943, Ferenc Léstyán fuggì miracolosamente, fuggendo nella parte ungherese della Transilvania. Ha servito la sua Chiesa e il suo popolo per 65 anni dopo la sua condanna a morte. Oltre il suo ministero pastorale esemplare, si è impegnato in preziose attività di storia della chiesa e di storia culturale.
