Aim: The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions of parents of 36-72 month-old children regarding gender roles in terms of various variables. Method: The research is a correlational research model and the sample consists of 179 parents living in Bayburt province. Demographic Information Form and Gender Equality Scale was used as the data collection tool in the research. Results: The research found that parents' perceptions of gender roles showed significant differences (p<0.05) in the sub-dimension of Male-Superiority View based on their children's age and gender, the mother's age, education level, and employment status, as well as the father's age and education level. In the sub-dimension of Female-Dependency on Men View significant differences were found based on the children's age, the mother's education level and employment status, and the father's age, education level, and employment status (p<0.05). Conclusion: The research findings indicate that parents' perceptions of gender roles vary according to different variables.
