Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

INTRODUCTION. The article analyzes Russian-language neologisms in the digital environment from the standpoint of linguosynergetics – the science of language self-organization. The relevance stems from large-scale digitalization, forming an alternative linguistic reality and stimulating neologization. The aim is to identify neologization patterns in modern Russian and demonstrate how the linguosynergetic approach aids their interpretation. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The study focuses on neologisms recorded in various media texts and widely used in the Russian digital environment from 2015 to 2025. Sources include the Russian National Corpus, online media, social networks, forums, and specialized neologism dictionaries. Methods applied are linguosynergetic, contextual, and discourse analysis. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. The research shows neologization permeates all linguistic levels, especially in technology, society, politics, and everyday life. Borrowing, affixation, lexical-semantic changes, abbreviation, and compounding are the most productive word-formation processes. The assimilation of neologisms is governed by internal language system laws, selection mechanisms, and adaptation to communicative needs. CONCLUSION. The practical significance lies in applying these findings to the standardization and teaching of the modern Russian language. Further research is needed to continuously monitor neologization and use interdisciplinary methods to analyze ongoing linguistic changes in the digital age.
