Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

The article presents a linguopragmatic analysis of phraseological units in the media space. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that phraseological units may undergo changes in their semantics, structure, and pragmatic functions within media discourse, adapting to the communicative needs of the speaker. The aim of the research is to examine the linguopragmatic features of the functioning and transformation of phraseological units in dialogues. The methodology includes contextual, structural-semantic, and linguopragmatic methods. The study reveals that phraseological units in the series perform expressive, regulative, phatic, and comic functions, thereby shaping the linguistic portraits of the characters. Instances of dephraseologization, occasional innovations, and metaphorical extensions have been identified, contributing to the creation of humorous effects and conveying the emotional states of the characters. It is demonstrated that media discourse fosters the emergence of new phraseological models that later become part of popular culture. The research concludes that phraseological units serve as a key tool in constructing communication between characters and represent an essential component of modern media language.
