Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

The article is devoted to the study of the challenges involved in preserving stylistic expressiveness and emotional intensity in the translation of romantic fantasy literature. This genre is characterised by emotionally charged language, vivid imagery, and a wide range of stylistic devices that create a distinctive atmosphere and contribute to the deeper portrayal of characters’ inner worlds. The author’s style in such texts often relies on metaphorical language, emotional contrasts, and subjective evaluation, which complicates the translator’s task. Translating romantic fantasy requires more than conveying the meaning of the original, it demands the preservation of its aesthetic impact. The translator’s main goal is to reproduce the emotional tension and stylistic uniqueness of the source text without diminishing its artistic value or effect on the target audience. Ignoring these aspects may lead to content simplification and a loss of emotional depth. The article examines key difficulties related to the transmission of emotional and stylistic expressiveness within intercultural communication, as well as strategies used to maintain the author’s voice and emotional richness. The study employed various methods, including qualitative text analysis, the complete sampling method to comprehensively cover the selected works, and the comparative method, which allowed for the juxtaposition of original texts and their translations to identify features of preserving stylistic and emotional intensity in the romantic fantasy genre.
