Esta investigación tiene como principal objetivo realizar una primera aproximación a la formación de prácticas de información y comunicación desarrolladas por mujeres indígenas, desde la teoría de la sociología de los usos. Se establecen así varios puntos fundamentales para llevar a cabo este análisis: a) definir los principales rasgos de los saberes tradicionales indígenas, donde la mujer desempeña un papel primordial como generadora y transmisora de los mismos; b) conocer con mayor precisión cuál ha sido la trayectoria que dichas mujeres han trazado en sus comunidades ante la producción de mensajes en medios de información y comunicación; c) analizar mediante la selección de sitios web la manera en que sus saberes se están transfiriendo a formatos digitales y, d) comprender el proceso de formación e integración de redes indígenas teniendo como soporte principal el uso de internet. Esta investigación tiene como punto de partida ciertas interrogantes: ¿qué papel desempeñan las mujeres indígenas como creadoras y transmisoras de informaciones tradicionales?, ¿hasta dónde internet contribuye a fortalecer su integración social?, ¿los saberes indígenas sufren alguna mutación al transferirse a lo digital?, ¿qué principios caracterizan su transmisión en redes? Se ha establecido como metodología una navegación estructurada en secciones por página web, donde cabe destacar la importancia de sus contenidos y actores. Se han determinado, así, diez modalidades que ayudan a explicar las principales prácticas de información y comunicación que conforman este universo virtual. The main objective of this research is to make a first approach to the formation of information and communication practices developed by indigenous women, from the theory of sociology of uses. Several fundamental points are thus established to carry out this analysis: a) define the main features of traditional indigenous knowledge, where women play a primary role as its generator and transmitter; b) know more precisely what has been the trajectory that these women have traced in their communities in the production of messages in the media and communication; c) analyze, through the selection of websites, the way in which their knowledge is being transferred to digital formats and, d) understand the process of formation and integration of indigenous networks with the use of the Internet as the main support. This research has as its starting point certain questions: what role do indigenous women play as creators and transmitters of traditional information? To what extent does the Internet contribute to strengthening their social integration? Does indigenous knowledge undergo any mutation when transferred to the digital world? ?, What principles characterize its transmission on networks? A structured navigation in sections per web page has been established as a methodology, where it is worth highlighting the importance of its contents and actors. Thus, ten modalities have been determined that help explain the main information and communication practices that make up this virtual universe.
