Summary

Descripción general del contenido del recurso.

Against the backdrop of rapid digital economic development and industrial convergence and transformation, higher vocational colleges, as training grounds for ‘compound type’ professionals, play a pivotal role in advancing the innovation of industry-education integration mechanisms and fostering the sustained, healthy development of regional economies. This paper systematically explored innovative pathways for industry-education integration mechanisms based on industrial economics theory, examining six dimensions: industrial structure, industrial organization, industrial development, industrial linkages, industrial layout, and industrial policy. Research indicates that by dynamically adjusting regional industrial structures, applying the SCP paradigm to transform and guide industry-education integration models, and establishing a tripartite collaborative education system involving vocational colleges, enterprises, and government. Thus, developing industry-driven ‘interdisciplinary programs’, optimizing the allocation of educational resources, and fully leveraging incentive policies for industry-education integration can enhance the scientific rigor, effectiveness, and innovation of such collaborations. This approach will sustain the healthy development of regional economies.
