Estación permanente UCOR: Datos GNSS y meteorológicos

La estación permanente UCOR forma parte de la red RAMSAC (Red Argentina de Monitoreo Satelital Continuo) del Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN), a nivel transnacional, es integrante de la Red SIRGAS (Sistema de Referencia para las Américas) e IGS (Servicio Internacional de GNSS) y brinda servicio GNSS a la comunidad. Funciona en las instalaciones del Departamento de Agrimensura de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. En su etapa inicial funcionó a modo experimental y en la actualidad se ha convertido en el servicio de datos GNSS más consultado de la Provincia de Córdoba. La creciente demanda hizo necesario que se mejore su configuración para poder brindar un mejor servicio. Actualmente, además del servicio de descarga de datos GNSS en formato Rinex y NTRIP, la estación cuenta con el servicio web para descarga de información meteorológica, información que no se encuentra disponible en la mayoría de las estaciones permanentes de Argentina y del mundo. En este trabajo se presentan las características más relevantes de la Estación UCOR en cuanto a los servicios que brinda y como se almacena, procesa y resguarda la información. UCOR GNSS station is part of the RAMSAC(Red Argentina de Monitoreo Satelital Continuo) network of the Instituto Geográfico Nacional de la República Argentina (IGN), and is an international member of SIRGAS (Reference System for the Americas) and IGS (International GNSS Service),and provides GNSS community service. UCOR works in Departamento de Agrimensura (Surveying Department) facilities of the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. In its initial stage it worked experimentally and today has become the GNSS data service most consulted of the Córdoba Province. The growing demand made it necessary to improve its configuration to provide better service. Currently, in addition to the download service of GNSS Rinex and NTRIP data, the station has a web service to download weather information, information that is not available in most of the permanent stations of Argentina and the world. In this paper, the most important characteristics of the UCOR station are presented in terms of the services it provides and how it stores, processes and protects information.
