Crisis terminal, pobreza y sentidos en la Argentina contemporánea

Argentina is going through its deepest crisis since it was established as a modern state on late 19th Century. This situation is not different to that which prevails in other countries in Latin America, so the crisis is not from a particular country but from the neoliberal model itself, which has become hegemonic and predominant in the whole region. Argentina is experiencing today the terminal crisis of a capitalist accumulation model which exppresses itsef in different levels: economic, social, religious, cultural, tate and political society, external idebtedness. Along with this article statistics are presented to illustrate the growing of poverty, its heterogenity, how it impacts different social groups, groups of age and gender relations. Poor people in Argentina are now almost half the total population and unemployment (along with unederemployment) is almost five million people.
