The importance of sales forecasting is fundamental in the agro-alimentary chain, because itallows a suitable integration of suppliers and the costumer satisfaction either they are internal oexternal. In this paper the techniques more commonly used to forecast were evaluated alongwith the measures that give precision to them. This paper leans in the theoretical andmethodology aspects used by Villegas and Alonso (2002), adding an aspect important in theprocess to carry out this analysis, and their impact in the results.
