Análisis de la curva de aprendizaje de estrategias semánticas en niños

Gran parte de las diferencias existentes en la ejecución de tareas de memoria de sujetos de distintos niveles evolutivos se han atribuido al uso de estrategias semánticas. El uso de estrategias semánticas supone la agrupación por categorías o el establecimiento de relaciones semánticas significativas entre los elementos a memorizar. En población infantil no se registran estudios que hayan analizado la curva de aprendizaje relativa al uso de las estrategias semánticas a lo largo de distintos ensayos en tareas de memoria y aprendizaje. La curva de aprendizaje de estrategias representa la cantidad de estrategias nuevas utilizadas en función del ensayo anterior de aprendizaje. Aunque la mayoría de los estudios ha medido el uso de estrategias a través de un índice que refleja la sumatoria de estrategias en los distintos ensayos, no se han registrado trabajos que incluyan en su análisis como un índice de interés, la curva de aprendizaje relativa al uso de estrategias semánticas. Consideramos que esta información resulta relevante dado que aporta información adicional y diferente al análisis de este tema. Es decir que, es posible que dos grupos de edad se diferencien en el índice relativo al total de estrategias utilizadas durante la fase de aprendizaje, pero que no presenten diferencias significativas en el incremento en el uso de las mismas que se registra de ensayo a ensayo (curva de aprendizaje). Por ello, este constituye el principal objetivo del estudio. Much of the differences in memory task performance in subjects of different ages have been attributed to the use of semantic strategies. Using semantic strategies involves grouping by categories or establishing meaningful semantic relationships between items to memorize. In child population are not logged studies analyzing the learning curve of these semantic strategies in different learning tests and memory tasks. The strategies learning curve represents the amount of new strategies used according to last learning test. Although most of studies have measured the use of strategies through an index that reflects the sum of strategies in different trials, there has been no work to include in their analysis the learning curve of semantic strategies as an index of interest. We believe that this information is relevant as it provides additional information and different analysis of this issue. Therefore, it is possible that two age groups differ in the index relative to the total strategies used during the learning phase, but showing no significant difference in the increase in the use thereof is recorded at trial test (learning curve).
