O pequeno grupo como organizador do ambiente de aprendizagem The small group as the learning environment organizer

O pensamento acadêmico contemporâneo sugere que o professor não pode limitar-se apenas a dar aulas. É desejável que crie um ambiente de aprendizagem no qual os alunos possam produzir conhecimento e que o conhecimento seja acompanhado por igual crescimento de suas consciências. Esta pesquisa objetivou compreender a contribuição de distintas organizações dos alunos em sala de aula, mais eficazes aos fins mencionados. Participaram da pesquisa 23 grupos, num total de 600 alunos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de instrumento de observação de grupo e do diário de campo e foram analisados qualitativamente. Os resultados indicam que a auto-organização dos alunos, em sala de aula, articulada com a organização formal, constituem organizadores mais eficazes no cumprimento dos desafios aludidos e, ainda, que não há uma separação nítida entre papéis e lideranças na organização do grupo, posto que todos estes, na interação humana, são entendidos como lideranças.<br>The contemporary academic notion suggests that professors should not limit themselves to just teaching. Creating a research environment in which students can produce knowledge is desirable. This knowledge should develop along with the growth of the students&#8217; awareness. The aim of this research was to understand the contribution of different organizations of students in the classroom, which were more effective for those purposes above. The participants of the research were 23 groups, totalizing 600 students. The procedures for data collection were group observation and a field diary. The analysis followed a qualitative approach. The results point to the fact that students&#8217; auto-organization in the classroom, joined to the formal organization, make more effective organizers in trying to meet those challenges mentioned above. Yet, there is no clear separation between roles and leaderships in the group organization, since they are all seen, in human interaction, as leaderships.
