Capraria biflora L. é uma planta medicinal tradicionalmente usada no Brasil para o tratamento de problemas no estômago, sendo reportada como diurética, estimulante e digestiva. Neste trabalho vários aspectos associados a esta espécie como atividade biológica, propriedades físico-químicas e fitoquímica são discutidos. Capraria biflora L. is an medicinal plant traditionally used in Brazil for stomach pains, as diuretic, stimulant and digestive.
