Anatomía foliar y caulinar comparativa de la "Liga" [Ligaria cuneifolia (R. et P.) Tiegh.] y la "Liga Blanca" [Tripodanthusflagellaris (Cham. et Schlecht.) Tiegh.]

Se realizan estudios anatómicos comparativos de tallos y hojas de la "liga" [Ligaria cuneifolia (R. et P.) Tiegh.] y la "liga blanca" [Tripodanthus flagellaris (Cliam. et Schlecht.) Tiegh.], pertenecientes a la familia Loranthaceae. La primera se utiliza en medicina popular en Argentina para el tratamiento de la hipertensión. Con el mismo fin, pero en menor escala, se usa la liga blanca. Las dos especies pueden diferenciarse mediante caracteres anatómicos, de los cuales el más significativo es la presencia de esclereidas irregulares ramificadas cristalíferas en tallos y hojas de la "liga", que no aparecen en la "liga blanca".
